|
|
| Southcentral Team Pennsylvania Inc. (SCTPA) recently
unveiled a new regional brand including a brand name,
logo and positioning line designed to enhance the economic
vitality of the eight-county region. The counties that
make up the Smart Market are Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin,
Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York.
The new name and logo express the opportunities
and positive attributes unique to the region including
its diverse industry, talent, knowledge-based workforce,
top-ranked educational institutions, rich heritage,
innovative spirit, proximity as a gateway to some
of the nation’s largest cities, and the abundant
outdoor, sport, tourist and recreational attractions.
"Companies look at regions for the attributes
they offer, such as workforce, transportation
systems, utilities, services, recreation and
culture,” stated Tom Donley, York County Chamber
President. “By branding our region, we are
conforming to the way companies think about
local economics.”
