Providing future direction for the York County Chamber is the strategy behind our emphasis on our Strategic Plan. "5IVE" STRATEGIES TO HELP YORK COUNTY BUSINESS THRIVE and Grow a More Prosperous Community is broken down into five relevant business issues identified through member surveys and strategic planning sessions. |
1. FIGHT FOR BUSINESS: MEMBERS FIRSTAction 1: Serve as the unified Voice of Business, fighting every day for a better business climate. Action 2: Deliver our pro-jobs and free enterprise message 24/7/365 in print, and on radio, television, the Web and face-to-face. |

2. ADD MEMBER VALUE & GROW THE CHAMBER AS YOUR SOURCE FOR RELIABLE BUSINESSAction 3: Focus on members' needs and expectations. Action 4: Create unique growth opportunities through our network; introduce speed networking techniques. Action 5: Deliver tangible benefits utilizing current and new technologies. |
3. GO FROM GOOD TO GREAT THROUGH DISCIPLINE IN PEOPLE, THOUGHTS AND ACTIONSAction 6: Continue to develop staff and board, as well as provide members with information and education. |

5. CHAMPION REGIONAL GROWTHAction 9: Grow the York County Chamber Regional Business & Technology Expo as a signature event for Central Pennsylvania. Action 10: Harness the power of 1.8 million Central Pennsylvania residents through the Chamber's alliances...leverage that power to grow a better region. |
