Overview

The Foundation ~ A Reliable Business & Community Resource

The Foundation of the York County Chamber of Commerce was created in 1987 as the community and economic development arm of the York County Chamber of Commerce. The Foundation's goals are to:


-Foster a dynamic community

-Connect the next generation of leaders

-Promote economic opportunity for all

As a 501(c)3 charitable organization as designated by the IRS, the Foundation is a reliable vehicle, audited annually, through which you can make tax deductible donations for community and economic growth. The Foundation has an independent board of directors and was founded by and is affiliated with the York County Chamber of Commerce. The Foundation contracts with the Chamber for staffing. The Foundation is also affiliated with the York County Community Foundation which manages its Restricted Fund.

The Foundation's current priorities are:


-Connect and develop emerging business leaders

-Support YorkCounts and its Metro York goals

-Focus on the Codorus Corridor's community and economic development

                                                       -Promote York to retain and attract creative and productive people.

How can you contribute to the Foundation?

There are several ways to make a contribution to the Foundation:

  • Friend of the Foundation (annual supporter)
  • Donor* (one-time gifts)
  • Legacy Giver* (bequest or planned gifts)

*You may choose whether these gifts are unrestricted or designated to your priority.
