On January 1, 2012, The York County Chamber of Commerce and the York County Economic Development Corporation joined forces and formed the new York County Economic Alliance, a 501(c)3 corporation. These two very significant organizations in York County - the Chamber and the EDC - are now affiliates of the Economic Alliance. The intent is to retain, and build on, the best characteristics, structures and programs of the founding entities. By joining together weve create a stronger voice for business and community efforts of all shapes and sizes.
We hope you will join the Economic Alliance because it will benefit everyone who lives and works in York County. In addition to the existing programs of the founding entities, the Economic Alliance will immediately offer members access and marketing to a larger population of companies, a bigger pool for group buying power, and the opportunity to offer new and unique programs and services. The ultimate goal of the Economic Alliance is to be your resource for facilitating economic and community development. Together, we can create jobs and grow Yorks economy.
